In accordance with our mission statement, we provide treatment and rehabilitation to all ages groups and disabilities:
1. Neurological conditions such as:
- Post stroke
- Parkinson’s disease
- Multiple sclerosis
- Spinal injuries
This will include increasing control, reducing spasm, increasing function and mobility and providing full instruction to carers.
2. The elderly who may be experiencing increased numbers of falls or decreased mobility. We will work to improve balance, co-ordination, strength, fitness and function. We will also be able to advice on the most suitable walking aids.
We work with Barchester Healthcare Group in several of their residential and nursing homes and have developed expertise in these areas that we are keen to share with others.
3. Amputees or those who have had joint replacements. This would include programmes to improve transferring, walking, functional activities, strength and fitness.
How we can help you:
- Give you a thorough assessment and also work with you to set goals that are functional and realistic.
- Provide exercises and individualised rehabilitation programmes to improve your strength, mobility and function (improving your ability to do activities that are necessary each day).
